The text is by Mark Twain, from a poem by Robert Richardson, and although titled “Dedication” it is more of a blessing. A beautiful concert closer for advanced high school or college voices, Richard Burchard’s music is rich, warm and scrumptious. The notes aren’t all that difficult, but singing all the gentle dissonances in tune – that’s the key. Medium difficulty.
