Smaller-size violins after the model of G.P Maggini are true rarities – and attractive instruments especially for young players. This old German 3/4 violin offered here was built approx. 1900 in Germany. t is an exceptionally beautiful instrument that features the typical characteristics of the Maggini style,Traces of use at the varnish and the wood indicate, its aesthetic and tonal qualities. Besides these traces it is crackfree and well-preserved, in very good condition and ready to play after a complete work-over by our luthier, who applied a new setup that matches the appearance of the instrument perfectly.
