As of January 2023 HighWood & Drum Builder will be in its new home down Thornes Wharf closer to central Wakefield.
The new site will consist of a 4800sq ft facility including:
New drum factory more than twice the size of our old workshop space. This will improve capacity and efficiency, allowing further development of our product lines. Drum builder as part of the drum company will feature a much expanded warehouse space.
Expansion of Highwood Music & our showroom operation. Chris will be running a substantial show space for drummers handling all the major brands, as well as our own, along with a new warehouse and distribution area that will serve our clients world wide.
HighWood Studios will launch later in the year. Our new venture for bands and musicians offering fully fitted rehearsal studio space. This will also serve as dedicated demo space for our clients and products.
Though we will always be an appointment only operation we want to create a destination venture for all our customers. We will be holding regular open days, workshops, drum building weekends and the like.
I’m still at the old workshop building orders whilst we transition over, but the fit out and build has begun… what an exciting time after the last few years.
